They're on a sort of weird footing in regard to one another, but it seems to be leaning towards the positive, with Mahalia seeming to draw some of the intense venom out of Ellie's attitude by just being really calm and chill. She's magical, and that's pretty weird for Ellie to wrap her head around, but she seems pretty okay despite that. That she was willing enough to give Ellie another chance when Ellie's pride makes it really hard for her to apologise was also pretty rad. MELLIFLUENTLY \| ORIGINAL

In generally, it gave her a really bad first impression, because she thinks Vanille is sort of a moron. That said, Emilia would have died if Fang hadn't swooped in and Vanille hadn't used her magic. The fact she was so bloody cheery as she did it was weird as all Hell, but the fact is, Em owes her life to Vanille. So, she's okay. She's just sort of weird. 	OERBA YUN FANG ❝ Well, that's some kinda greeting, kid. What'd I do to you, huh? Kill your dog? ❞ Honestly, Fang's annoying. Willful, arrogant, coarse, hands on. She's also the kind of person Ellie likes, rather despite herself; in a way, she reminds her a bit of Homer, which means Fang could be destined to get yelled at a lot and butt heads with her on a regular basis, but also be someone she respects a lot. Even if she'd rather lose teeth than admit that. As well as not taking Ellie's crap and actually saying helpful things when she isn't being obnoxious, Fang played a big part in saving Em from those phantoms. So, you know, she's all right. 	SANTANA LOPEZ ❝ So are you, way to put the feminist movement back. ❞ Button presser. Ellie swings from finding Santana funny and refreshing to thinking she's a total bitch who should shut up and sit down. It's kind of like being trapped in high school again. The whole cheerleader thing is pretty hilarious to her, too, like a sort of walking American stereotype. Not going to lie, she has a very hard time taking it seriously, even though Santana doesn't seem like a person to take lightly the more she talks to her. Ellie really would like to dismiss Santana as a vapid idiot, but she doesn't think it's true, so it's sort of hard to just scoff at what she says and wander off - she wants to win the argument, and she's usually too proud and hot-tempered these days to back down. Lately, she's come to see Santana in a much more positive light, more like a friend than a pain in the ass, but who knows how long that will last? HERETOLOOKHOT \| GLEE


	SEPHIROTH ❝ LE QUOTE ❞ They talk about honourable combat and nuclear weapons. Run. Ellie simultaneously is wary of Sephiroth because she talks about being a SOLDIER and enjoys the strange conversations they have about warfare. The more she untangles her own thoughts, the more she is likely to go and bug Sephiroth about it. Sephiroth seems to have a very calm attitude towards just about anything, which does great things for riling Ellie up - talking dispassionately about comas, for example - and calming her down by sort of knocking the air out of her argument. Her ability to talk openly and reasonably about things is something Ellie actually looks up to a fair bit, along with that calm. She'd like to master that for herself, rather than giving in to her anger all the time, but it's not all that likely she'll swallow her pride to admit that out loud.
